About Everyday Jewish

Everyday Jewish began because we wanted a place where Jewish life felt accessible and welcoming, instead of overwhelming or performative.

Like many American Jews, our relationship with Judaism hasn’t always been linear. Some traditions felt familiar. Others felt confusing, intimidating, or distant. We wanted to honor Jewish culture, history and meaning without feeling like we had to do everything “right” to belong.

What we kept coming back to was this: Judaism lives in everyday moments.

Candlelight on a Friday night.
Shared family recipes handed down from generation to generation.
Asking questions and debating the answers.
Choosing connection over perfection.

Everyday Jewish is a space for people who want to bring Judaism into their home in a way that feels honest, modern, and doable.

Whether you grew up with traditions, are part of an interfaith family, or are just beginning to explore your heritage, you are welcome here.

Whether you light Shabbat candles every week, only on occasion, or are just curious about where to begin, you belong here.

This isn’t about rules or labels. It’s about meaning, home, and living Everyday Jewish in a way that fits your life.
